Enrique Norten hopes that the U.S. election prompts a re-evaluation of values within the discipline of architecture. Norten defines his practice at TEN Arquitectos (Taller de Enrique Norten Arquitectos) as an investigation, viewing architecture as public space, landscape and infrastructure. He discusses some recent projects, including the New York Public Library 53rd Street branch; CENTRO campus, Mexico City; BAM South Site; West End Square 37, D.C.; LANGEBIO research campus, Guanajuato; Acapulco City Hall; MUNET museum, Chapultepec Park; and the stations for the Toluca/Valle de México inter-urban train.
