Architecture After the Fires: L.A. in Progress05:55

"Architecture After the Fires: L.A. in Progress" takes viewers inside SCI-Arc’s exhibition on rebuilding in the wake of California’s wildfires. Over fifty architects and designers present new approaches to living in fire-prone areas. Most of the projects are home designs intended to improve upon what was lost; others offer specific research into aspects of resilience. Through models, drawings, site analysis, and conversation, the film reflects on how the local architecture community can respond to crisis, imagining not only how we rebuild, but how we rebuild smarter, safer, and more sustainably for the landscapes ahead.

The exhibition "Architecture After the Fires: L.A. in Progress" is a Resilient Futures Task Force event.
