SCI-Arc EDGE Design Theory & Pedagogy alumni speak about the unique one year platform that is the MS Design Theory & Pedagogy Program and how it enabled them to formulate their pedagogical positions and current career trajectories. Khosro Salarian, Claudia Wainer, Yara Feghali, Dylan Krueger, Henry Yang, Matthew Lopez, Ryan Scavnicky and Garet Ammerman discuss the projects, research and pedagogical models they developed in the context of the Design Theory & Pedagogy program at SCI-Arc. Their work touches on a history of feminist pedagogy, the role of emerging technologies in architectural representation including machine aesthetics, game engines and VR; the ability of the image to hold architectural content and the role of architecture in social media.
