Jensen begins by explaining his work for the Land Pavilion at Disney World, noting how people enter the pavilion for entertainment but leave with information about our resources and responsibilities.

Jensen describes his research at the University of Arizona Environmental Research Laboratory, specifically the Biosphere 2 project, intended as a totally regenerative, balanced ecological system. He discusses work on hydroponic food production, bioengineering, aquaculture, air, soil and pest control.

Jensen responds to audience comments, noting that more and more Americans are starting to grow their own food in the house.
