Guy Nordenson discusses several research, design and engineering projects that attempt to deal with the consequences of climate change constructively. Projects include a comprehensive study of New York's upper harbor, a project on the Mississippi delta, a 2012 study of the Yangtze Delta and some environmental planning projects he has been involved in since Hurricane Sandy, such as the state's NYS2100 Commission, Mayor Bloomberg’s 2013 Stronger, More Resilient New York plan, and a research project with five landscape design and architecture programs and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on resilient design strategies.
