“Attuned Translations” immerses viewers in SCI-Arc’s 2025 Graduate Thesis Weekend, a three-day celebration of experimentation, dialogue, and architectural imagination. The film traverses students presenting their thesis work, intricate models paired with digital media, and large-scale prints that transform SCI-Arc’s campus into an exhibition alive with color and chemistry.
Guided by Graduate Thesis Coordinator Jackilin Hah Bloom, the weekend explores “translation,” understood as the transformation of data into space, physical models into digital systems, and environmental inputs into architecture. Through its dynamic visual rhythm, “Attuned Translations” captures not just the projects themselves, but the heartbeat of 72 students engaging with more than 80 guest critics and 17 faculty advisors in an unfolding negotiation of ideas.
