Present Futures: Immersive DID Visions at SCI-Arc05:51

“Present Futures: Immersive DID Visions at SCI-Arc” offers a look into the creative intensity of Design Immersion Days (DID), a four-week summer program that introduces high school students to architecture and design through the urban landscape of Los Angeles. Guided by artist and program coordinator Angelica Lorenzi, students engage in digital experimentation, honing their skills in Blender, Photoshop, and other 3D modeling software within SCI-Arc’s computer labs and fabrication spaces. Through hands-on making, material exploration, immersive design exercises, and collaborative studio work, this film captures the energy of emerging designers as they develop new ways of seeing, thinking, and creating in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.
